9 Ways the Right’s Ayn Randian Experiment Screws Over the Young | Alternet.

Conservatives like to say that and I’m going to use the word Progressive to be nice and avoid offending overly insensitive people. Conservatives like to say that Progressives want to create a cradle to grave welfare-state where the Federal Government would assume. Responsibility over Americans daily lives and look after our well-being for us. That we would no longer have to take responsibility for our own lives and make our own decisions for us. And be at the will that so-called Progressives like to say of individualism and the. Private-enterprise system to obtain the services and products that we consume as Americans to live. Well in life and RJ Eskow made the cradle to grave point on his blog on the AlterNet. But what he didn’t do was denied that or say that it wasn’t true, all he said is that Conservatives like. To say that again so-called Progressives my words want to create a cradle to grave welfare-state in America.

Progressives or Socialists would be smart if they want to build up their credibility and followers. To get past the idea of a social-contract because there is no such thing. We as Americans do not sign onto to Social Security, Medicare or any other public service that we. Receive for simply being Americans, we simply do not have a choice in the matter and are required by law. To pay into these services by law whether we believe in them or not. What we have in America is a safety-net that we can collect from when we need it like when we are out. Of work or can’t afford housing or health insurance but Socialists in America would like to go much further than that. And create that cradle to grave welfare-state that would be there to take care of us our entire lives. So we do not have to take responsibility for our own lives and make our own decisions that they do not. Trust the private-sector to perform well for us and at an affordable rate.

What I want to do as a Liberal and what other Liberals want to do. Is create an opportunity-society where we all have a solid opportunity to be successful in life. That’s based around education and job-training where no matter the income level of our parents or where we come. From we would all have a solid opportunity to be successful in life. But then have the responsibility to make the best out of those opportunities for ourselves. Which is more of an individualistic approach with government providing opportunity. Rather then a collectivist approach and government making decisions regarding our lives for us.
